Magdeleine Bouhou Gite
Originally the private home of the previous owners, this charming house is now our private gîte which is nestled within our working Côte de Blaye, Bordeaux vineyard. It is a beautifully refurbished home with 5 bedrooms that comfortably sleeps 10 people. It includes a private garden, outdoor shower, generous heated plunge pool, terrace & BBQ area.
The house is a short cycle into the local town of Blaye - we have bicycles available at the property also, with a cycle path very close to the house stretching from Blaye to Etauliers. Blaye is also home to the Unesco World Heritage Site, Citadelle de Blaye, designed by the celebrated French military engineer, Vauban.
Within easy reach are many things to explore - St. Emilion, the Medoc region, Arcachon and the Dune du Pilât, the Aquitaine coastline and lakes, Cognac, Bordeaux city and much more.
